The term "danger zone" was derived directly from an existing Europa concept, the Soviet safe zone around Leningrad in FitE/SE.
What should the area outside the Soviet safe zone be called? Would it not be the Soviet danger zone?
This was the line of reasoning that led the rules writers to choose the wording used in Second Front.
