Sudden Storm

Streamlined Europa 1941-42

by Rick Gayler

Table of Contents

Sudden Storm is a detailed, operational-level simulation of the German invasion of the USSR, from the start of the war in June 1941 to the end of Stalin's counteroffensive in March 1942. Sudden Storm is distinguished from its predecessors Fire in the East and Scorched Earth by the fact that it has been greatly streamlined, both in the number of' counters and the length of the rules required for play. This variant dramatically reduces playing time, while retaining the major design elements and scope of the full-scale version of the game.
