Initial ForcesGerman 18th Army Place the following units anywhere in Germany on or
north of hexrow 1100. 1st Cavalry and SS Motorized
Division "V' may begin the game broken down.
German 6th Army Place the following units in the hexes indicated.
Note: Units starting in hex 1421 may not move or attack north of hexrow 1400 unless released as reinforcements. Place the following non-divisional units in any hexes
containing a division of the 6th Army.
Note: The German 6th Army was directed against Belgium. Hence, 6th Army units may not enter or overrun any Dutch hex north of hex row 1100 (unless and until they are released as reinforcements). They may attack these Dutch hexes, and project their ZOCs into them. High Command ReservesPlace the following units in the hexes indicated.
Note: The German Paratroop and Air Landing units may operate normally in the German invasion turn. All other units of the High Command Reserves are restricted as per Fall of France rule 31B. Border GuardsPlace the following units in any hex in Germany
adjacent to the Dutch/Belgian border.
Note: All German border guard units are restricted as per Fall of France rule 31B. German Air ForceIntrinsic AA: All major city hexes in Germany have 5 points of intrinsic heavy AA. Place at any clear hexes in
Germany.
Place at any airbases in Germany.
Reich Defense Force.
Note: This unit may only base in major city hexes in Germany and may only fly patrol, interception and transfer missions. ReinforcementsGround units listed as reinforcements are 6th Army units released from their operational restrictions. Upon release they may move and attack normally as allowed by the scenario rules.
