British Army Order of Battle Notes

1. "Anywhere" refers to any dot or major city in Great Britain.

2. Units labeled "GHQ" preceded by a particular Command (ex: Western Command GHQ) are kept off map until a German unit enters the specified command. At the Allied player's option, the GHQ units can then be placed in any dot or major city hexes in that command. For each GHO command so activated, permanently reduce Great Britain's infantry replacement point total by one. (Note: The British infantry replacement point total can never go below zero.)

3. After setting up, the Allied player must remove six 2-8 Inf Xs from the initial forces in Great Britain. These units are simply withdrawn from play, and can come from any command except Northern Ireland.

4. The British 2-1-8 Lt Arm Brigades and the various 1-10 combat/motorized units, such as MG, Recon, and Lt Arm require explanation. They represent the amazing collection of equipment, including automobiles, trucks, motor bikes, old light tanks, and even World War I vintage tanks that were issued to "armoured" units while they waited for the arrival of modern tanks.

5. A number of the units in this order of battle are not contained in the counter mix for Fall of France, Spain and Portugal, or Their Finest Hour. Counters for these units must be created or confiscated from other games.
