Cap in field grey with black visor, a national cockade disc is worn above visor (disc; red outer, yellow middle and green centre), jacket and trousers in field grey, fig. 1 has a bayonet on his waistbelt under the coat, boots black. A large percentage of lower ranks were Indians which these two are.

Khaki uniforms like those of the German "Schutztruppe" with brown leather equipment.

Cap in field grey, shirt is a collar-less white one, trousers in field grey.

Cap in field grey, shirt and trousers in field grey, scarf white, brown leather pouches and belts, straw sandals, cap were beaten into a variety of shapes.

Cap in field grey, some caps were in khaki, shirt and trousers in khaki drill, brown leather belts and pouches, canteen in khaki cover, brown strap to rifle, blanket in grey with a black stripe.

Cap in field grey with black visor, national cockade above visor, tunic and breeches in field grey, boots are brown, brown leather Sam Browne, lapel pin in gilt, shoulder strap design unclear. During the Gran Chaco War both the field grey and khaki drill uniforms were worn, field grey being in prominence at the beginning of the war with khaki drill becoming more in usage as the war progressed.
