Service Dress. Cap khaki, top disc is the national cockade (red, white and blue), below is a gilt service badge, tunic and breeches are also in khaki drill, brown gloves, leggings and boots, shoulder cords are in gold lace with 2 gold rank stars, buttons are gilt.

Hat a dull green cotton, jacket and trousers also of a dull green material, some sources say olive green, boots are black, waistbelt is in brown leather other straps are in cloth.

Hat as per fig.2., scarf white, shirt and trousers a dull green, medium dark blanket with "Paraguay" embroidered on it in black.

Standard: Blue over white with red bottom, gold lace lettering (unclear what it says), gold cords, shirt and trousers as per fig.3., black shoes, canteen in brown cover.

All khaki drill, brass cap badge, black visor to cap and boots.

Boots and leggings in brown leather or really dull black. On campaign in the Chaco the "Jungle Green" uniform was almost invariably worn by all but the most senior officers, it was worn without any insignia (not even rank), I have also seen a photograph of a man wearing cartridge pouches.
