Shako black with patent-leather top, bands and visor, cords and tassels in gold and crimson, chinstrap silver on crimson velvet. Jacket scarlet with collar, lapels and cuffs in dark blue, white piping, turnbacks in white, epaulettes in silver lace, buttons and rank rosettes on cuffs also in silver, trousers are dark blue with silver side stripe, waistbelt and buckle in silver, summer white trousers were worn without the out-side leg seam stripe.

Kepi black with patent-leather top, band and visor, gold lace on front of shako forming a "V" above the gilt plate and below a red pompom that has a white center, cords and tassels in gold lace, lace at rear of kepi, again making an upside-down "V" is also in gold lace. Tunic is white with crimson collar patch and piping, gold lace shoulder straps with silver rank rosettes, gilt buttons, trousers are white with three crimson stripes (two outer wide the middle stripe being rather thin), sword slings are in gold lace on red leather, waist sash in yellow with crimson interlaced.

Kepi, same as fig.7. except with crimson cords and tassels, yellow rather than gold lace for rear "V", tunic in white with crimson collar patch and piping, shoulder strap and cuffs white piped crimson, brass buttons, trousers white, belts are black patent-leather with brass fittings, steel sword scabbard and hilt, black shoes, steel spurs.

Helmet white with green lining, white metal helmet plate (red center with silver shield), tan leather chinstrap, tunic in light blue with white piping, lace on cuffs also white, shirt with stand-up collar in white, buttons white. Trousers are like jacket light blue with brown waist-belt, white metal buckle, black shoes.

Helmet white, silver plate with gilt center shield and oak leaf wreath, chin-scales in silver, tunic light blue with white piping, silver buttons, lace bar on cuff silver, shoulder cords of twisted silver and white with gold rosettes. Trousers are light blue with a silver side leg stripe, waistbelt in white leather with silver lace stiched onto it, silver buckle.
