Korean War

United States Army
Ranger Company

by Greg Novak

One last unit needs to be mentioned. The US Army formed Ranger Companies to serve in Korea. The 1st, 2nd (All Black Personnel), 3rd, 4th, 5th and 8th Companies arrived in Korea, with all personnel being airborne trained. In the end they were attached to Infantry Divisions, which tended to waste the units on operations no one else wanted to do. For COMMAND DECISION they would be rated as:

RANGER (AIRBORNE) COMPANY: (Veteran, Morale 10)

    1 Command Stand
    3 Recon Infantry Stands
