With this issue, I am pleased to welcome Nick Nascati, our Renaissance theme editor for Volume III, to the ranks of figure reviewers (an admittedly dubious distinction of sorts). Nick will be concentrating on reviewing the lines of Renaissance figures available on the market, a task for which he is particularly well suited as those of us who have seen his painted armies can well attest. I expect that he will bring to his reviews a fine eye coupled with a sensitive interest in the period. Moreover, it will free your editor to pursue some other pet projects in these pages (whether opening that can of worms is a good idea remains to be seen). More Reviews
