For those of you fascinated by the next general European conflagration, GHQ has released two new modern AFV's in 1/285 scale. These are the new Soviet T-72 (catalogue No. W22) and the current US reply, the M- 1 (or XM-1 which may or may not save Chrysler Corporation and Lee Iacocca), catalogue No. N34. As our figure rating system really doesn't apply to AFV's, I have to limit myself to noting that both vehicles continue the very high standard of a detail for which this manufacturer is known. The amount of such detail squeezed into the track, deck and turret of the T-72 is truly remarkable The M-1 appears to be a much cleaner vehicle, but the model nicely captures its larger size (one wonders if M-1 might not be the abbreviation for Maus-1). GHQ vehicles are either available retail or from the manufacturer by mail order. For lists, prices and information, write to GHQ. 2634 Bryant Ave. South, Minneapolis, Minnesota, 55408.
