Defender’s InformationDefender’s Briefing The 1987 offensive against UNITA has stalled on the banks of the Lomba River. The FAPLA 47th Mechanised Brigade is isolated on the south bank of the Lomba and all attempts to reinforce it have been defeated by UNITA and their South African allies. You are to withdraw the 47th Brigade north across the Lomba River while ensuring that you take as few losses as possible (do not lose more than 19 stands from the 47th Brigade). Should you be unable to withdraw across the Lomba, you must maintain a bridgehead on the south bank (at least one FAPLA battalion in good morale status) at the end of the game.
