Column totals are as of December 2.
Individual unit strengths are as of November 22.
1 Remained at Ampfing during the Battle of Hohenlinden
2 Remained at Haag during the Battle of Hohenlinden

When dissatisfied with the quality of the data, I have omitted numerical strengths for the Austrian units. However, the November 22 returns do provide some useful aggregated data for the Austrian units not otherwise specified in the preceeding list. The average strength of the grenadier battalions was 500 men; the light and grenz battalions, 600 men; the cuirassier regiments, 900 men; the dragoon regiments, 800 men.

Each Austrian column had a corps artillery reserve consisting of foot: two 6-pdr,eight 12-pdr, and four 7-pdr howitzers; cavalry: four 6-pdr, two 7-pdr howitzers.
