The following scenario is based on the preceding article from Small Unit Actions, a study produced by the Historical Division of the War Department as part of the American Forces in Action Series published during and just after the war. This scenario is an attempt to recreate just one small piece of the battle--an attack by a single company on strong Japanese positions.
