The newest items in the GHQ line of 1/285 scale WWII models are US6, M4A4 Sherman and R8, Russian SU-122. Like all their predecessors these are truly excellent little models. Perhaps it was due to a mix-up in the shipping department or something, but the sample M4 they sent us look just M4A3 Shermans to me. It is my understanding that the M4A4 had frontal armor with less slope than previous models - in order to eliminate the bulging hatches for the driver and bow machinegunner - and horizontal volute suspension. The samples received have highly sloped armor, bulging hatches and vertical volute suspension! In their excellent 20mm "Guardsmen" line of Napoleonic miniatures GHQ has added a new 12 pounder field gun, NGG-3.
