KublaCon 2003 had 1,948 attendees this past Memorial day weekend. This total surpasses last years total of 1,500. While the bulk of the increase was in Miniatures and CCGs, there were quite a few boardgame players who came to KublaCon for the first time. The attendance of Reiner Knizia and the Kniziathon tournament had a lot to do with the increase. Reiner gave a couple of seminars that were packed to overflowing. Both were well received by those that made it.
