The (Virtual) Armchair General now most proudly offers to Collectors and Gamers alike the one-of-a-kind work of master modeler, Richard Houston. These 25mm Gunboat models are now being offered just in time for the imminent release of "More Gunboat Diplomacy" (MGD) from "And That's The Way It Was..." Publishing, home of the Sword And The Flame 20th Anniversary Edition" and the matching campaign rules, "The Sun Never Sets."

These models, illustrated on the site, are fully assembled and ready for gaming. Most are already at least partially armed, and several have sets of crew figures as well. Others may be armed as desired, but all have rails, ladders, ventilators, ship's wheels, and other fittings made by Richard either as part of his previous lines (available from The London War Room), or custom built for the model in question.

All are waterline models and originally built for use with MGD, but could as easily be used in any other context. Indeed, when not in use on the table top, any of these would make handsome centerpieces on a Gentleman's mantle as well--if not a Museum!
