Special Election

Brian Swisher has volunteered to run for Regional Director of his region, Region 9. This post was not filled by the recent elections. A Special Election is therefore called for Region 9 (states with ZIP codes beginning in '9'). The ballot will appear in the next issue.

If you have other nominations for Regional Director, Region 9, please send them to the Editor, George Phillies, 87-6 Park Avenue Worcester 0 1605 as soon as possible.

Awards Committee

John Burtt has volunteered to serve as Chair of the Awards Committee, and President Kramer has appointed him as Chair.

Treasury

The December issue cost $109 to print and $60 to mail. Renewals include Minton and Kohn; the new member is John Burtt. The Treasury holds $3221 and owes the Editor $169 and the Vice President approximately $50.

For the year we appear to have three games lined up, two on the second-largest campaign of World War II, under titles "Fall of Manjukuo" and "August Storm" and tactical simulation "Get There Firstest with the Mostest".
