In an effort to secure some long-term renewals from the Membership, I am making the following recruitment premium available: any member that extends their Society membership for three years will receive a copy of the XTR game “Smithereens” from me by return post.

The game simulates the last six months of World War II in Europe at a division/corps level on two maps with about 500 counters. This zip-lock packaged game was designed by Ty Bomba and carries a suggested retail price of $29.95.

Send your check made payable to the SGS in the amount of three years dues (that’s $45.00 for a U.S. address, etc.) to me: Mark A. Kramer, 896 West San Fernando Street, San Jose California 95126-3055. I will post your copy of the game to you by Priority Mail (Air Mail for addresses outside the U.S.) and remail the checks to George.

If a member want a copy of the game without the three year extension, they are available for $20.00 each - send the checks to me at the above address made payable to the SGS (the Society is getting all of the money from this offer). If an extending member wants a second copy of the game, add $15.00 to the amount of your check (it’s $5.00 less because I will save on the postage).

This offer is good until either I run out of copies of the game or 31 December 2002, whichever comes first.
