This issue is a bit of an administrative catch-up: as required by the SGS Constitution and Bylaws, I am printing same in these pages, as well as a list of Society members as of the end of August. We're also at stage 11 of the election process: announcing the nominations for different officers and printing campaign statements.

This is as good a time as any to inform all and sundry that I am not going to seek reelection as Editor. I have had a lot of fun and learned a lot in the process of putting Strategist together every month, but I have found that this process was interfering with other projects in my life (gaming related and not), and I did not want the quality of all my enterprises to suffer. I'd rather stop now than go another year, burn out and end up presenting you readers with a lower quality, perfunctory product.

As of press time there was no announced candidate for Editor, but it's not too late to throw your hat into the ring - you have until October 20 to get your name to me if you are interested in the job.
