GET READY FOR FALL

Shoppers at the Wal-Mart in East York, Penn., were a bit startled to see the store's "Back To School" sale included shotgun shells. A full variety was offered, from small game loads to skeet rounds, at $29.80 for "a large box." A store spokesman said the same "Back To School" price placard was used for all sale items throughout the store. (York Daily Record, also reported in This is True)

BUT DO THEY HAVE PRINCE ALBERT IN THE CAN?

The most creative example of Filipino's newfound national mania for sending text messages by cell phones, according to a July New York Times report, is that of Muslim guerrillas at war with government troops in the southern islands. Ever since they uncovered documents with army troops' cell phone numbers, they have extended their hostilities by pecking out insults during lulls in combat.

OHHHH, BEHAAAAVE!
