Last month the length of Lou Coatney’s excellent new East Front design, The Russian Portfolio, precluded writing much more than a simple hello. However, I don’t intend to run off at the keyboard every month; that’s your job, as I want you all to send me lots of articles! This issue includes a small game called Zulu Spears. It’s designed by a newcomer to the SGS, one Lloyd Krassner. Lloyd has a website called “Warp Spawn Games”, with almost 70 complete mini-games and game variants on it, all designed by him. His site came to my attention last year, when I was surfing around, and I have tried a few of them. I wanted to show you this sample of his work. You can see the rest of it at http://members.tripod.com/~lkraz/index.html. There’s also a solo Rorke’s Drift variant for Zulu Spears there. We‘re having a SALE on back issues of Strategist! Only $10 for 10 issues! We don‘t have an index of what exactly was in which issue, but at these prices you can afford to take a chance - see page 2 for listing of what’s available.
