This is almost my last issue of Strategist. Next month is the election. The month after that, we announce election results. I am aware of only one candidate for Editor - Brian Train - and I am happy to endorse him.

The wonders of modern computer technology have given us an issue quality that would have astonished past generations of gamers. They have also given me a stream of articles, without which we would be out of commission.

My great disappointment has been that it is very hard to get articles on military board games. Isn't anyone writing about tactics for something from Clash of Arms or The Gamers or Decision or Hasbro or? Well, you all know the list....
