Wizard's Quest (2-6 players) is a very good game but it it gets better the more people playing. I wouldn't recommend it particularly for 2 people and it certainly plays great with 6. It is very reminiscent of 'Risk', but more complex (though it's not a complex game per se) and with more interesting 'storyline'. There were some good variants published in the General. The map is one of Avalon Hill's best and the art generally excellent; the rules are short and easy to understand. This is the kind of game that, once you have learned it, you can teach several non-board gamers to play and have a wonderful evening. Play with a minimum of 3 players and don't finalize your views of the game until you've played with 6!
