Richard Gutenkunst, long-time SGS member, has volunteered to take over as publisher of Strategist, assuming publishing issues can be resolved. Some of these aren't trivial, and possibly he and I will find it just can't be done. The entire SGS is in any event extremely greatful to him for this offer.

Historically, whenever we switch publisher, it takes a couple-four issues to get things working correctly. Until then, the new printer doesn't quite understand what they are being asked to do, the interface with the Postal Service behaves strangely, shipping of masters back and forth hits snags... Expect interesting events for the next few issues.

To sing again an earlier sermon, the remainder of the Directorate could perhaps be doing more for the Society - the walking wounded have an excuse.
