It's a fairly simple game, often described as Monopoly meets Acquire. Players move round the board and buy properties ("markets") on the spaces they land on. If you land on other players' markets you have to pay them some money. So far, it's just like Monopoly. However, attached to these markets are "franchises". Players can buy more franchises to increase the values of their markets. This has the same sort of effect as buying houses in Monopoly, but the mechanics are quite different. There are reviews to be found on the manufacturer's web site, http://www.prism-games.com. It's not a game I play all the time, but it's an enjoyable way of spending an hour or so and I thoroughly recommend it. So do quite a few people who do not count as a friend the designer and publisher, Tom Lehmann.
