A Quarter-Century of Service to the Hobby

Twenty-five years ago, four hobbyists —- Rod Burr, George Phillies, Kevin Slimak, and Mark Swanson -— gathered at the MIT Strategic Games Society and at 897 Main Street Apartment 4 in Cambridge Massachusetts, their objective being to found a new organization, better than what had gone before, to advance the hobby and all its interests. That organization, originally the American Wargaming Association, became the Strategy Gaming Society that serves the hobby to this day.

Scotland the Brave

Bill Sariego writes: My game, Scotland the Brave, was indeed published in the July issue of Shadis magazine. Didn't pay much, but unlike Decision, at least they did pay! Also got a some gratuity mags to pass out to friends and family. Get paid tomorrow, so gratis copies will be heading to you fellows over the next few days.
