I like Monsters Ravage America, too. I'm also not bothered by the artwork, especially since most boardgames look a lot worse. Anyone see Maul of America??? Monsters works for me... for this particular genre, anyway. The variety of Monsters makes it really neat. With 8 monsters to pick from -- each with different abilities -- and combine that with 4 different militaries, every game is really different. Playing the airforce and the sea monster (can't remember his name...) is a totally different game than the army and some other monster. And since most of the cards for mutation and researching aren't used in one game, it doesn't get old. Then again, I like any 4-player game that can be finished in under two hours! When I was at Origins, I saw several tables where people were laughing and having a good time. This has been my experience as well.
