This column is an experiment, in reporting on gaming events hither and thither that are not yearly like conventions, but that instead happen on a weekly or monthly basis, like club meetings. The Silicon Valley Boardgamers (SVB) meets every Wednesday, at Neutral Ground (formerly known as Match Play) starting around 7 PM. Neutral Ground is located in the San Antonio Shopping Center (near Sears) at the northeast corner of San Antonio and El Camino in Mountain View. They charge a $2 admission fee to use their playing area, which is refunded if you buy at least $4 worth of merchandise from them. Address: 560 Showers Dr. #4, Mountain View.
