Web Site

by Michael Dean

Now announcing: the SGS on-line World Wide Web site.

Thanks to SGS Member and Officer Brian Train we at long last have our own web site. It is already up and running. Including on the site are old convention announcements (“See what you missed!”), the Constitution and Bylaws, a list of links around the world, and other material. You can see the site for yourself at http://www.wpi.edu/~citizenx.sgshome. html. Note that Brian is a bit cramped for total space, additional spaace at the site would cost money, and a discussion of alternatives would be open. (Brian and I discussed a guestbook page. Given the problems AHIKS has had with “guests”, this seemed inopportune.)

I have not yet received the election results. Nonetheless, since I voted for him, as did at least one other member, and there were no other canioddates, I infer that Ken Ellis has indeed been elected President of the SGS for this, our 25th anniversary year.

Mentioning the 25th anniversary, the August issue will mark 25 years of more or less continuous publication for Strategist. As the leadoff, I am including in this issue soemthing that few of you have ever seen, namely Volume 1, Number 1 of this magazine.
