The following is a "semi-official" announcement based on the best information that Prism Games has been given to date.: TimJim Games, publishers of Outpost (OOP) and Mystic Wars is ceasing to do business as a game publisher. Prism Games, publishers of Fast Food Franchise, Time Agent, Suzerain, Age of Exploration, 2038 and Throneworld, will continue to do business, attend conventions and publish new games. One consequence of TimJim's decision is that its previously announced next publication, Reign of Terror, is cancelled until its rights can be sold to another publisher. People who have pre-ordered this game should receive an announcement in the mail and a refund from TimJim Games at some point. Contact TimJim2@aol.com (not Prism Games) if you have any questions.

It is possible that TimJim's game rights to Outpost and Reign might be sold to Prism at some point. However, to date, TimJim has made no such offer. I want to stress that all of this represents "tentative" decisions on TimJim's part. They have yet to give me a definitive statement of their plans. This is the best information I have.

Obviously, this has thrown Prism's plans for this year into the air. I'd like to thank all our customers for bearing with us while we adjust to our new situation. Thank you.

Unfortunately, TimJim Games has decided that we are unable to publish our game Reign of Terror. We are looking into potentially selling the rights to our intellectual property to other game manufacturers. Also, our primary designers, Tim Moore and Jim Hlavaty may publish other games, so look for them. We are refunding any preorders that we received for Reign of Terror and anticipate issuing the refunds by the middle of April. This was a difficult decision for us to make, but because we serve a very small market, it is no longer economically viable for us to publish. Please let us know if you need any further information.
