Web Sites 1998

by George Phillies

Your humble editor has somewhat limited web viewing facilities, and has not actually visited many of these sites, whose suitability for viewing is therefore *not guaranteed*. A volunteer Assistant Editor for this column would be greatly welcomed.

Andon, Inc. has a convention listing at www.andonunlimited.com. The www.erinet.com/bp/hist.html has data on Architectural Heritage Buildings. www.icenter.net/~gisby/ren.htm covers Foundry Renaissance figures. www.magweb.com collects magazine pages, for a few. They'd like to include Strategist, but I don't see how we could do that and still have a viable club. www.eden. com /~tmp is The Miniatures Page, with lots of information of use to a newcomer. members.aol.com/johns426/xenophon.htm has information on back issues of Gorget and Sash. The www.grognard.com site has lots of non-volatile information on games and the like. There's a discussion site at www.manzana.com/webx. The HMGS/PSW web page is at http://www.west.net/~howie/hmgspsw.html. Included are club listings, contacts, old newsletters, and links elsewhere. http://members.aol.com/kulmann/index.html has reviews of German and English boardgames and Tolkein-based games. The Westbank Gamers web-site says it has a Game Reviews folder including Successors, Quo Vadis, El Grande, Manhattan, Age of Exploration, Princess Ryan's Star Marines, Geronimo, Twilight Imperium etc. at http://home.earthlink.net/~gschloesser.
