Your Treasurer has some slightly different news this time, in the form of a slight change in the way the Treasury is handled. Historically, we have had a single Treasurer's account, with members being paid post facto for expenses. We now have several officers with very small monthly expenses (the Editor, for the cost of producing and photocopying a sin- gle set of printing masters; the Vice President, for printing and mailing the Directorate Newsletter). We are also now large enough that money for printing and mailing must be sent in advance rather than being re- imbursed. I have therefore set up advance account with each of these officers, so that moneys may be transferrred in a systematic and less clumsy manner. Treasury Balance 10/15/94 $1927 New Memberships: $48
