Progress is going well with the former Gunslingers and I really believe you guys will see it on the shelves by April 92. We are fortunate in that the Clash Of Arms project officer working with me on this is none other than Phil Boinske, of all things an Air Superiority buff and 2d edition playtester as well as part owner of the company. Needless tosay the working environment is quite good, completely unlike what I had to deal with before. Also, I am actually doing the rules layout myself so between me and the printer, there won't be any surprises. In the gaming business, it's usually bad news to give the designer total freedom with a set of rules. Designers are notoriously blind to there own defects and rules omissions. Well I can assure you that what you are getting has very few if any holes in it. After all, it is a 2d edition rewrite, not a new design and it has been thoroughly devoured, ripped, shredded and rewritten to the point that I don't even recognize my hand in it anymore thanks to the efforts of the more than thirty playtesters over the last 2 years that this has been in the oven. Well that's it for CE this time. See you next issue.
