Campaign of 1812 In the second cavaly corps under Montbrun, attached to the 2nd Cuirassier Division under Wathier in the 3rd Brigade under Richter, later Domez. At Borodino they stood to the right of the Shevardino redoubt in the 2nd line of cavalry. Not engaged at the Beresina they came out of Russia with their Eagle. Campaign of 1813 Commanded by Colonel Berruyer, in the 2nd Cavalry Corps under Sebastiani de la Porta, in the 2nd Light Division under Roussel d'Hurbal, in the 2nd Brigade under Domanget. One squadron strong, comprising 4 officers and 93 men. Part of the army of the Bober under Macdonald. Present at the battles of Goldberg and Katzbach, also Leipzig and Hanau. Campaign of 1814 Not listed in the orders of battle, most probably under the command of another lancer regiment. Campaign of 1815 Commanded by Colonel Sourd, in the 1st Cavalry Corps, in the 5th Division, under Subervie in the 1st Brigade under Colbert. Taking part in the same actions as the 1st Lancers, the 2nd Lancers strength was 41 officers and 379 men on the 17th June at Genappe, their colonel, Sourd, was wounded by six sabre cuts to his right arm. The mangled limb was amputated by surgeon Larrey on the battlefield, after which Sourd returned to take command of the regiment.
