1. 11th Annual SYWA Convention. will be held on March 18 and 19, 1994 at the Holiday Inn-Downtown in South Bend, IN. The convention cost will be $10.00 for two days admission plus $20.00 for the banquet on Saturday night. The is the same price as last year's convention in Harvey, IL. Convention organizer, Herb Gundt, informs me that he needs people to volunteer to judge games at the convention. The response, so far has been extremely light, so far, so I would strongly urge everyone to fill out the enclosed convention registration form and return it to Herb Gundt along with your check for $30.00 as soon as possible. Please do not put off this task if you plan to attend the SYWA convention.

2. HMGS-East presents their annual Cold Wars Convention on March 11-13, 1994 at the Lancaster Host Resort in Lancaster, PA. For details, contact Bob Watts, 902 Langley Road, Glen Burnie, MD 21060.
3 HMGS-Midwest presents their annual Little Wars Convention on March 31-April 2, 1994 at the Ramada Hotel O'Hare, 6600 N. Mannheim Rd., Rosemont, IL. Contact Jeff Hammerlund. This convention used to be held in April, but showing all the acumen and organizational skills of the Duc de Grammont at Dettingen, the convention organizers are holding this event over Easter weekend. But wait, it gets worse; the convention dates move forward into March in 1995 and 1996 so that Little War lands squarely on the SYWA's traditional third week in March convention date. This will certainly be a topic of discussion at the Association's annual meeting after the banquet at our convention this year.
4. HMGS Pacific Southwest will be holding their Mini-Wars Spring Campaign Convention on March 12 and 13, 1994 at the Saddleback Inn of Santa Ana, CA. Contact Steven Verdoliva at P0 Box 701, Norwalk, CA 90651-0701 for additional details.
