18. Friedland Hospital. This church served as a hospital during the battle. 19. This monument on the side of the hospital pays tribute to and marks the common grave of the Russian soldiers killed in the battle. 20. Across from the hospital is a massive statue of Kutusov, complete with cannon. 21. Friedland Church. Napoleon viewed the battlefield from this church; even today the view is spectacular. 22. Napoleon stayed here on 14 June 1807. 23.
