Nelson's Battles
Pen & Sword are reprinting a number of books in their Military Classic range, the aim of which is to provide classic titles in paperback at relatively low prices. Nelson's Battles is one such title. This was first published in 1965 and examines the major battles in Nelson's career, such as the Nile, Copenhagen and Trafalgar. Each action includes the events leading up to it, the battle itself and the aftermath. This is a good read but this aspect of Nelson's career has been studied in detail since the work was first published. However, for a general account of Nelson's battles at an affordable price, this book is of value. Book Reviews Naval Special
