Constable has merged with Robinson Publishing and now distributes many of the titles produced by this company. They have some interesting books to be published over the coming months, some of which tie in nicely with the Hornblower films that we all look forward to.

The Exploits of Baron de Marbot (Ed. Christopher Summerville) was published in paperback in July price £10.99, while October sees the issue of Cochrane: The Life and Exploits of a Fighting Captain by Robert Harvey (£16.99 hardback) and Napoleon and Marie Louise by Alan Palmer (£20.00 hardback). January 2001 sees the publication of The Mammoth Book of Life Before the Mast: Firsthand accounts from the Age of Nelson and Fighting Ships (Ed. Jon E. Lewis), priced at £7.99 paperback.

The following month sees The Mammoth Book of Soldiers At War (Ed. Jon E. Lewis) priced at £7.99 paperback. This volume looks particularly interesting as it contains ten eyewitness accounts of life on campaign during the French Revolutionary War, the Napoleonic War and the War of 1812.
