The Italians in 1813

Mockern, Weissig, Konigswartha,
Pilgramsdorf, Lahn, Wartenburg

Introduction

by A. Ricciadello, Poland

For the same reasons I translated the Danzig article (FE 5 1), I thought it may be worthwhile translating some of the smaller actions that will be of interest to the Napoleonic enthusiast. Much of the detail supplied comes mostly from individual reports, so maybe they shouldn't be taken too literally.

As the title suggests, these accounts focus on the Italians, but hopefully they may stimulate readers to give the other sides, and thus provide a fuller and more balanced view.
