The Württemberg contingent serving with the Imperial army in Germany during the War of the Second Coalition was initially organised in two separate formations, the second of which was financed by Britain. The first, formed in January 1800 was called the Württembergische Reichs-Kontingent (Württemberg Imperial Contingent), the second, formed in April 1800 and financed by Britain, went by the name of the Reichs-Kontingents-Ergänzungskorps (Imperial Contingent Supple-mentary Corps). The contingents served initially in the 'Army Corps' commanded by FML Sztaray, and consisted of the following units: Reichs-Kontingent. GM von Seeger
