This excellent study of the War in the Peninsula covering the period 1807 to 1814, has been reprinted unabridged by Constable of London. The Napier family fought through out this war and this work, by William Napier, although somewhat partisan, gives a great insight into the period and comes complete with orders of battle, maps and correspondence. Volumes 1 & 2 are available now with 3 & 4 available in May and 5 & 6 in August. Highly recommended, and will appease all who wanted a complete Napier set for themselves but couldn't afford one of the few remaining antique sets.
