Q4. Royal Suedois After the Revolution

from George F. Kozowski

I have found at the University of Washington Grand Library some information for Mr. Gunnar Brolin. On p220 Appendix I of The Response of the Royal Army to the French Revolution: the Role and Development of the Line Army 1797-93 by Samuel F. Scott (Clarendon Press, Oxford), I found a chart, from which I have abstracted the following.

Appendix II: Designations of Line Units 1787-93

Royal Suedois (German)89th Regt.1st btn. of 161st Demi- bgd.
2nd btn. of 162nd Demi-bgd.
