Age of Valour/Age of Eagles
This are two sets of rules by Bill Grey: Age of Valor a XIX century ruleset, while Age of Eagles, being a napoleonic set designed along the Fire and Fury ACW rules. He uses 10mm models, mounted on 15mm size bases.
An extract from one of his his Yahoo messages:
That was for my Revolution 1848 Age of Valor expansion module, and the bases for infantry are 1 inch wide by ¾ deep. Cavalry and artillery remain the same. However, if you want to use the standard AOE basing scheme, do it and don’t sweat it.
For Revolution 1848, mounting remains the same for guns and leaders. For cavalry I mount three 10 mm or two 15 mm on a base. For infantry I use the Old Glory 10 mm strips, so each base has 10 figures in two strips of five, one behind the other, or three 15 mm. For light infantry I use three 10 mm or two 15 mm per base.
