Control to Catastrophe battle mat

I have a felt cloth which should be well suited to fit our needs for 6mm armies. Vittorio uses 2 bases x 6cm/base=12cm front while I use for my renaissance 2 bases x 6cm/base=12cm and for ancients 4 bases x 2.5cm/base=10cm front.

Ideally the battlefield should be 9 x 18 boxes, with a minimum of 7×12 boxes. On a 180 x 240 table, using 15cm side squares, we will have an almost idea total of 12 x 16 squares.

For my 6mm ancient armies, it would be better suited to use 12cm side squares, so we would have 15×20 squares. Great!

I will put brown dots to indicate square positions, it should be enough.

For my 25mm armies, thinking at the next ruleset coming up, Maximilian, I will use my 180×360 table and in this case 20cm sides squares, for a total of 9 x 18 squares, ideal size! My units will have a frontage of 15cm and a there deep unit will be 15cm deep. Perfect!
