I’ve just discovered this archive. Thanks for posting, I’ve wanted to find some of these lost articles for years.

      Dear Trev,
the archive comes from a fellow gamer and it is a snapshot well before its closure.
Probably now most of the articles content may be found with a web search,
but I felt it could still be of interest to somebody.
      My pleasure.

Hello, I found this archive of First Empire in august, when searching for info about the “1787 Prussian invasion of Holland”. I had started reading articles by Geert van Uythoven from about 20 years ago, about this 1787-1795 period history of the armies of the Republic of the United Provinces of the Netherlands during the Patriot revolution. This is the same period as the likewise “patriot” revolutions in the Austrian Netherlands and the Biscopric of Liège ( now both called Belgium) Would you be willing to also send me a link to the archive? Thanks in advance ! Filip (Belgium)

    Hello,

Would it be possible to obtain access to the copy of the MagWeb? I used to be a subscriber more than 20 years ago, and lost all the articles when moving computers. It was an incredible treasure trove.

    Thank you in advance,
    Maciej Zwoliński

  19. Patrick says:

    Hello,

I bookmarked part of an article, The Thirty Years War Part 2: An Examination of the Leaders and Their Motivations, but it no longer appears accessible. I really liked how it summarized such a multi-layered conflict in a non-academic, succinct way from numerous points of view. Would it still be available to share for viewing?

    • parallels says:

      Hello Patrick,
yes it is possible. Please write another comment with your real email address, so that an account may be created for you.
