On the way back from Historicon this year we stopped at Antietam. Walking the battlefield was almost a religious experience. Reading about a battle is one thing but actually being at the site is quite anotner. (Burnside's Bridge is much smaller than I thought.) Such trips assist in giving a sense of reality to our table top efforts. This issue contains, as usual, two scenarios, articles on unit size, Gettysburg movie review, story of a boy soldier, terrain scenery and gaming on "the Information Superhighway." Also, a member of our staff, Kathleen Seroteck, begins a new column dealing with the "not so famous" Civil War generals. Nothing less than victory!
