As we move into the second half of the year I would like to make you aware of some of our plans for future issues of The Zouave. From, member input there is strong interest in scenarios. Accordingly, each issue will have two. Some will be generic and some will be adapted for specific rules sets. Also, we will continue with maps, photographs, reviews of books, miniatures, and rules. You can look for articles on uniforms, flags, developments within the bobby, and a few surprises! We are currently working towards obtaining manufacturer/supplier discounts for society members. Keep your fingers crossed! A member of the wargaming hobby's Grenadier Gurard--Paul Price--has joined our ranks as contributing editor. He starts with this issue. Brian Scherzer is continuing his work on the flag project. He still needs members to send him any state flag info that is available. Effective August 1, 1 can fill any orders for Advance The Colors or The Shenandoah Campaign System. Will the member who wrote the article in this issue on skirmishers, let me know so I can give credit to you. Feel free to copy the flyer included in this issue -- lets fill our ranks. Lastly, all you "closet authors" out there, send in your articles... we need you! The best never rest!
