When the regiment was captured at Ft. Donelson, this flag was secreted through captivity. Size: 42" x 60"

CANTON: Dark blue
BARS: Alternating Red, White, Red
STARS: White
LETTERS: Gold
FRINGE: Gold

31st Alabama

This flag was captured on May 16, 1863 at Champion's Hill (Baker's Creek).

CANTON: Dark Blue
BARS: Alternating Red, White, Red
STARS: white
CROSS: white
MOTTO: white
UNIT NAME: Dark Blue

6th Kentucky

This flag was captured or Sept. 1, 1864 at Jonesboro Ga. The rest of the brigade flags were probably similar at this time. The flag was issued in the spring, 186 Size: Approx. 36" x 54"

FIELD; Red
CROSS: Dark Blue with White trim
STARS: White
UNIT DESIGNATION AND CROSSED CANNON: White
BATTLE HONORS: Black

Note: The crossed cannon was an award for the capture of enemy artillery.
