In the last issue we called for members to vote on the best scenario and best article to appear in Volume II of THE ZOUAVE. The election chose Dean West's scenario, "First Battle of Pegram's Farm" (Vol. II, #1) as best scenario, with Ken Lewis' "The Struggle For Little Round Top" coming in a close 2nd. The election for best article chose the series of flag illustrations from the Confederate Museum by a wide margin. Since this was essentially a non-article and was "written" by the editor, a Confederate photograph will be donated to the Confederate Museum since the flags belong to them. Dean West's prize is a wardate photographic engraving of General Phil Sheridan. It should be mentioned that Rod Thayer's article on the Tennessee Brigade came in 2nd, while his scenario with that brigade came in 3rd! The editors thank everyone who submitted material for publication, and we look forward to some great articles and scenarios for 1989!
