With the holiday season upon us, and the last issue of the year in your hands, Clay and I would like to thank all of our members for a great 1988. The ACW Society is thriving, both in number of members and in their willingness to participate by writing outstanding articles for our magazine. You have helped make THE ZOUAVE an example of what a specialized miniatures magazine can be when people love the period they play on the gaming table. There are so many people to thank that I can only single out a few, and will certainly overlook others due to a lack of space: Clay Cooper, Ryan Toews, Chris Johnston, Jill Fisher, Lloyd Eaker, Dean West, Stone Mountain Miniatures, Ulster Imports, and Rob Smith. The coming year promises to again be the best yet for us. We hope that you will renew your membership and, to help remind you, have stamped the cover of all envelopes with a renewal message. Some of you have already sent in your dues. If you have, please overlook the message ... it was too difficult to separate the envelopes in terms of who paid and who didn't.
